October 2015: Lake Ingalls


These are photos from a fall hike up to Lake Ingalls to see the larches. A major cold front visited the area the day before our trip leaving a dusting of snow at higher elevations. The barometer rose steadily during the night, and the last of the front blew through in the early morning hours before we arrived. We had warm, sunny weather. While past their prime, the larches were still colorful.
