October 2017: Lake Ingalls


These are photos from a fall hike up to Lake Ingalls to see the larches. The melt-freeze of snow from 2 days earlier made the trail very icy below Ingalls pass. The larches were brilliant yellow. Ingalls Lake, as usual, was beautiful.
